Dear Parents,
I would like to introduce you to a project that we will be doing in our school this year. The project is primarily focused on the cooperation between students and their parents and students and their other classmates.
The project is called "Travelling the Czech Republic".
A map of the Czech Republic is posted in each of the classrooms. At the beginning of each week they will have a drawing to see who will bring something to class.Then they will have until Tuesday of the following week to bring to class a photo, leaflet, travel stamp from a favorite place in the Czech Republic, a place visited with the family recently, or an important place in the Czech Republic..
At the same time, the child should bring some information about the placeso that together we can not only talk about the memory, but also share some points of interest/information related to the place.
During the morning circle, we will talk about the place, find out who has been there, and share experiences from our travels.
Finally, we will attach photos next to the map of the locations and attach a string to the map to show where the photo was taken.
We will present the project to the children in the classroom and the first passengers will be the teachers. Then the next week, we will draw the first lucky winners who will tell us about the place they visited the following week.
