Ten commandments for parents of preschoolers

Within materials for Expected Outcomes of the RVP PV, a draft document describing the basic requirements for preschool children was also developed, based on numerous questions from parents, which could be used by parents. Entering the first grade of primary school is a major life change for a child. It changes the child's role, environment, adults and peers, daily routine, activities, demands and requirements. In order to cope with this challenging situation without serious problems, the child should not only be sufficiently developmentally and socially mature, but also well prepared. The material offers parents of preschool children basic information on what their child should be able to do before entering primary school. Both educational and educational prerequisites are captured. Bear in mind, however, that each child matures at a different pace, and that every child may not reach all the parameters, but they should still come close. The overview of basic skills, links and unifies the goals of the family and the school. Therefore, the cooperation of the family and the school in the child's education is especially important.
