Veronika Bergmanová is the director of Wonderland Academy and an experienced educator with many years of experience leading educational institutions. She currently runs both the elementary and kindergarten schools as a connected educational unit, emphasizing continuity in learning and smooth development for children across different stages. She guides children from their very first steps in education all the way through other key milestones in their school journey.

Throughout her career, she has been focused on creating a modern, bilingual environment where both children and teachers can truly thrive. She believes that a school should be not just a place for learning, but also a safe and inspiring space where personalities, relationships, and values are shaped.

She studied primary school teaching with a specialization in English at Charles University and further expanded her education with studies in preschool education as well as a leadership program for school principals. She has also completed studies in managerial psychology, which allows her to combine pedagogy with modern leadership, focusing on well-being and personal development in the school environment.

Professionally, she builds on a combination of teaching expertise, leadership, and a strong focus on relationships. She actively seeks out new approaches in education, supports innovations in teaching, and systematically develops the teaching team. She believes that a quality school is created where there is a shared vision, open communication, and mutual respect between the school, children, and parents. In her everyday work, she therefore focuses not only on academic results, but also on the well-being of the entire school community.

Besides her professional role, she is also a mother of three, which gives her an authentic insight into the needs of families and the everyday reality of school life. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing in the sauna, going on trips, and spending time in nature. She is also very passionate about reading and continually educating herself – she believes personal development is a natural part of everyone's life, not just educators.

Music is an important part of her life. She completed her studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in the field of popular singing and has previously worked as a vocalist and performer in musical projects. Music still represents an important source of energy, creativity, and joy for her – values she naturally brings into the school environment. She believes that art and creativity have an irreplaceable place in education and help children develop not only talent but also self-confidence and sensitivity to the world around them.
